Susie has 20+ years’ experience bringing groundbreaking media services and technologies to market in Europe and the US. She has worked for a number of companies in various technology, product development and senior management roles including the BBC, Abekas, Virage, and Premier Retail Networks. In late 2010 Susie saw a unique opportunity for a solution that would allow marketers and network operators to manage their own branded video networks on TV, web and mobile screens with a combination of easy to use programming, tools and access to premium content. Wovenmedia was launched in 2011 and the company’s vision continues to grow and evolve under Susie’s leadership.
Joellen Jacobs | VP, Programming & Production
Joellen has built an unparalleled content library for Wovenmedia, establishing long-standing relationships with over 150 top-tier content partners. Her deep knowledge of original video production from pre- to post-production and everything in between gives her a powerful advantage when negotiating with premier creators and distributors. Joellen has worked with clients ranging from NBCUniversal to AFI, DirectTV, Champ Car, Panasonic and Best Buy, and has honed her expertise working on media development within the retail, television and film industries.
Zarik Boghossian | Chief Technology Officer
Zarik has been the ideal partner to translate Susie’s vision into a cloud SaaS platform built to scale, and today drives Wovenmedia’s R&D and software development functions. Prior to Wovenmedia, he built a variety of Web 2.0 solutions in various technology sectors including multi-channel marketing, legal and compliance systems, wireless communications and business intelligence. As a former NASA engineer, Zarik understands the importance of building innovative solutions that are stable, secure and scalable.
Janette Wood | Director of Sales
Janette has led and developed sales teams for high tech companies across North America and Europe for more than 20 years. Her career has included roles in well-established companies like Cabletron, Sallie Mae, and British Telecom as well as helping develop processes and markets for newer enterprises. She is most known for finding and developing young sales talent as well as her affinity for global deal structure and channel development. Janette is a firm believer in making integrity a key ingredient in every partnership. She has contributed to a number of technology publications and is a graduate of Gonzaga University with a focus on rhetorical criticism and public relations.
Omar’s product and operations leadership at Wovenmedia has grown out of his extensive experience at the forefront of digital media innovation. Over his career with technology leaders like Cisco, PRN, LatinChannels and Merisel, Omar established a track record of creating, marketing and operating the world’s leading digital media solutions for heavy-hitting clients across many verticals. Omar is also our resident ‘Champion of the Customer’, consistently reminding us that no two users are the same and all require a solution that not only suits their current business but has the flexibility to scale.
John Polachek | VP, Creative Director
John leads all Wovenmedia’s creative efforts and has a depth of knowledge in advertising, branding, design and new media. After 25 years working for the likes of Young & Rubicam New York, Saatchi Pacific, USweb/CKS and PRN, his unique combination of talents for naming, messaging, broadcast design and even 3D design have played an integral part in Wovenmedia’s success. His ability to help network owners understand the hidden value of technologies like 4K are invaluable. John has won numerous awards including a Clio, OneShow, and Andy, and has had work featured in AdWeek and the Print annuals. John graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
